Virus W32.Novarg.A@mm also known as W32/Mydoom@MM [McAfee name] is spreading throughout internet from Tuesday. We have received over 30 e-mails on our server with this virus. Please be aware of it as it can harm your system. The virus usually arrives as an attachment with the file extension .bat, .cmd, .exe, .pif, .scr, or .zip and with size 25-35 KB. The file name can be different, we have received files like document.zip, body.zip, and others.
When a computer is infected, the worm will set up a backdoor into the system by opening TCP ports 3127 through 3198, which can potentially allow an attacker to connect to your computer and use it as a proxy to gain access to its network resources.
