Seems like Kanye West's new album 'Late Registration' is leaked before the actual release. Unreleased tracks off of the highly anticiapted follow up to "The College Dropout" has hit the internet. The track list for "Late Registration" has not been finalized, but West previously said it would feature guest appearances from Common, John Legend and John Mayer.
Billboard reports that the new album 'Late Registration' will now be released on August 16. It was originally scheduled for July 12. No reason was given for the delay. The first first single, "Diamonds From Sierra Leone," is already in the U.K. Official Charts. The video for it was shot in Prague and publicizes the violent diamond trade, currently at the centre of civil war in Sierra Leone.
West said he chose the subject because he wanted to educate people about the horrors of the diamond trade, since diamond companies such as DeBeers sidestep the issue in their glamorous commercials. "We came with the concept for the video and, of course, I couldn't wait for the opportunity to rap on the subject," West said. The song contains a sample from the James Bond theme "Diamonds Are Forever."
Here is a rough look on the track listing( subject to change ):
Touch the Sky GoldDigger (feat. Jamie Foxx) Crack Music (feat. The Game) Heard Em Say (feat. Maroon5s Adam Levine) Drive Slow (feat. Paul Wall & GLC) Bring Me Down (feat. Brandy) Celebration Addiction Diamonds From Sierra Leone Bittersweet (feat. John Mayer) Whole Life (feat. Newz) Gone (feat. Camron & Consequence) Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Remix feat. Jay-Z)
West, with 10 Grammy nominations in 2005, was the most nominated artist of the year. The album 'The College Dropout' took the top spot on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and reached #2 on the Billboard 200.
